Tobago: Jewel of the Caribbean, Paradise to Visit in 2023.

Photo Above by Eye Ubiquitous/REX/Shutterstock

Trinidad & Tobago are sister islands located deep in the Southern Caribbean, close to South America. While Trinidad is known to be the commercial business center, with one of the largest economies in the Caribbean and the destination for the premier Carnival Festival every February, sister island Tobago is the chill island with beautiful white sand beaches, tropical resorts, nature, wildlife and the home to three major species of sea turtles, making it one of the world’s premier turtle watching destinations.

The Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort is the premier resort in Tobago. Surrounded by the ocean on one side and the golf course on the other, the vast family friendly resort boasts 178 deluxe oceanfront rooms plus 22 one and two bedroom cottages with hot tubs and direct ocean front views.

There are three swimming pools including a swim-up bar, aptly called Li’l Nylon Pool, multiple dining options, a sumptuous breakfast buffet is included for all guests. Guests can dine casually in the Pembois Restaurant & Terrace daily, with theme nights and a varied daily menu for lunch and dinner. For a more refined dining experience Kali’na offers Caribbean and Creole specialties served in an elegant dining room setting, while The Salaka Grill offers seafood specialties overlooking the ocean. For a casual vibe, The Robinson Crusoe Pub, has a bar food menu and cocktails, along with weekly Karaoke nights. The resort offers all-inclusive packages so guests can experience true relaxation without having to remember their wallets.

The resort offers complimentary shuttle service three times a week to Pigeon Point Beach, where guests can lounge and swim in crystal clear waters, and can book many available tours, to the world famous Nylon pool, we highly recommend Sugar Lips, a highly rated and dependable tour guide, offering affordable diving, snorkeling and sightseeing boat tours, some with a freshly cooked BBQ lunch on No Man’s Land Beach and an open bar.

The many activities at the resort include tennis, golf, a fitness center, complimentary bikes, kids club, and a spa. The resort is happy to book excursions throughout Tobago. Our favorites are snorkeling, diving, turtle watching, bird watching and rainforest tours. Come February, Tobago also celebrates Carnival with music and festivities throughout the island.

Part 1: Aion Aesthetics Natural Growth Factor Hair Restoration.

Aion Aesthetics is located in a townhouse on the Upper East Side. They offer a host of treatments ranging from injections, fillers, microneedling, kybella, natural hair restoration and much more.

Hair restoration for men is a much needed and yet still taboo subject. It is gaining popularity as self-care and anti-aging treatments have blown up in the last few years, with more men opting for treatments that are natural and don’t require alot of downtime.

In this story, we will capture the process of starting a natural hair restoration treatment program for a young, healthy, and athletic 28 year old, who is just starting to feel the effects of a thinning hairline and wants hair to be full and thick.

On his first visit, Justin goes went through a thorough consultation to see which treatment would be most effective and PRF Fibrin Hair Restoration Injections were chosen as the optimal treatment. Using ones own blood that is drawn and spun in a high- tech centrifuge machine, heavier cells in the blood, the stem cells and white blood cells to collect in the bottom part of the test tube, while the platelets and plasma collect in the upper part.

The platelets and plasma are collected and injected into the areas of thinning hair. The procedure involves lots of injections with a very thin needle into the scalp where the follicles are sparse. Little discomfort was felt on the first visit and we are looking to see the results that take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to become visible. Justin did inform us that he saw visible effects after 2 weeks.

Look out for chapter 2 coming in there next couple of weeks after his 2nd visit. aionnyc.com

By Maya Litovsky

The enCourage Kids Foundation hosted their 18th Annual Golf Outing to more than 250 sponsors and guests at the Pine Hollow Country Club and The Mill River Club. After a day on the course, golfers and guests came together for an award ceremony led by Hank Celestino – L&L Holding & Event Chair, to celebrate this year’s honorees, Julie Arce of JLL, Rosemarie Krol – CBRE and Tiffany Mizen – IBM.

This year, one of the enCourage Kids, Danielle Sass along with her family attended the outing. Danielle was born with a rare neurological condition in which one side of her brain is abnormally larger than the other. “I’m so grateful for the support of all the attendees, our sponsors and the many donors that continue to embrace our programs,” said Michele Hall Duncan – President & CEO enCourage Kids Foundation. “It is families such as the Sass family that keeps us working diligently to make a difference in the lives of the children and their families who need us most.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the work of our team and the lives that we change through our programs,” said Joe Wessley – Encourage Kids Board Chair. “I’m grateful for all those who continue to support our mission and who have come out today to make a difference.”
