Eastwinds is a all-inclusive boutique resort in Gros Islet, St.Lucia. Minutes away from Rodney Bay, the property is set amidst tropical botanical gardens with humming birds, gorgeous flora and nature trails.
From the moment guests arrive the staff, many whom have been with the resort for decades greet you with a welcome drink and a smile. Within hours it seemed they remembered our names and our drink orders. Speaking to other guests at the property, some who have been coming for over 15 years, the staff’s attentiveness and attention to detail are the reasons why the return rate is so high and what truly sets this little gem apart from the other larger scale resorts on the island.
Located on Labrelotte Bay, one of the most pristine bays in St. Lucia, the proximity to the beach allows guests to sunbathe, swim and snorkel directly on property. The large free form pool features a swim up bar. The open air restaurant is only a few steps away, along with a beach bar that offers beachside service.
Dining is one of the most special activities at the resort. The executive chef typically chooses locally sourced ingredients some of which are grown on the on site garden. Breakfast is ala carte now due to Covid protocols, with a varied menu including omelettes, pancakes, and French toast made to order.
