Collaborating For A Cure 18th Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction honored John Varvatos for his dedication and work with this foundation and featured a very special private concert by Singer/Songwriter John Fogerty. The event raised over 2.5 million dollars to support The Waxman Foundation Research efforts to produce a cure for cancer.

The Master of Ceremonies for the Gala was Chris Wragge, cohost of CBS 2 News this morning and was attended by many celebrity guests as well as socialites and business executives including Marion and Dr. Samuel Waxman, John Varvatos, Cristina Cuomo, David Burke, Ruth Finley, Jean Shafiroff, and many more!

The Live Auction led by Hugh Hildesley, Executive Vice President of Sotheby’s raised some serious cash including a bidding war for an adorable goldendoodle puppy that brought in $16,000 dollars.
