Soaring to dazzling heights, one of the most anticipated events in NYC, the enCourage Kids 10^th Annual Serving Up Smiles, raised significant funds for impact driven pediatric programs for hospitalized children across the country. Hundreds of guests came together at the beautiful waterfront venue Current in Chelsea Piers to help raise funds during a food tasting event that touched the hearts of all those who attended.

The night was emceed by ABC Sports Anchor Ryan Field who was joined by Jean Butler, President & CEO enCourage Kids Foundation who took center stage and talked about the support hospitalized children need when in the hospital. “It is wonderful to celebrate the joy, hope, and healing enCourage Kids Foundation provides to pediatric patients across the country” stated Jean Butler, President & CEO enCourage Kids Foundation. “We are incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors, chefs, restaurants and guests who gave so generously and enabled us to amplify our impact and help even more sick children.”

Elvis Duran, Skeery Jones, Danielle Monaro, all Z100 Elvis Duran Morning Show Hosts, did the fundraising appeal and spoke about the children benefitting from the night. A great silent auction of items and experiences played a role in making the night successful as guests were having fun outbidding each other on some of their favorite selections.

Joining in on the fun eating and dancing to the beats by DJ Chef were Super Bowl Champion Marvin Washington, NFL Legend & Sports Commentator Tony Richardson and Xen Sams Host of iHeart WOR A Moment of Xen. Culinary Chair Chef Glenn Rolnick who is the Director of Culinary Operations Carmines/Virgil’s BBQ, supported the night and served up his delicious eggplant parmigiano.

Mouthwatering plates were served by the chefs of Artichoke Pizza, Bryant Park Grill, Carmine’s Italian Restaurant, Chef Vincent Tropepe, Gotham Burger Social Club, Happy Boards, Hunt & Fish Club, Ocean Prime, One Rare Italian Steakhouse, Robert, Sfoglia, Sushi Yolo, The Curry Blossom, and Virgil’s Real BBQ. Guests also enjoyed wine and cocktails by Aphrodise, Cooperstown Distillery, Dr. Perricone Hydrogen Water, FIJI Water, JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Landmark Vineyards, Newburgh Brewing Company, Once Upon a Coconut, Owl’s Brew, Quintessential Wines, and Zyr Vodka.
