This trailblazing, existing sushi delivery concept is poised for a significant expansion, unveiling its innovative hybrid concept that seamlessly blends japanese cuisine with sushi and pastries. With delivery and takeout only at their Hudson Yards and Soho locations, Happy Tuna is thrilled to announce the opening of this dine-in restaurant. This evolution promises an engaging and interactive digital aquarium experience that links to a loyalty program, introducing patrons to a new dimension of immersive dining. The 40-seat restaurant will be open daily from 7am until 10pm, featuring Japanese breakfast, with pastries and coffee, lunch and dinner featuring sushi, nigiri, rolls, sashimi, onigiri, and crispy rice as well as an extensive grab-n-go wall ith Japanese sandwiches. The restaurant will also serve beer, wine, sake, and cocktails, and will cater to the young professionals in the area looking for affordable, high quality Japanese cuisine. The expert pastry team will offer an array of handcrafted pastries including Pistachio Paris Brest, Kabocha Chiffon Cake, Matcha Yuzu Kolache with Citrus Crumble, Kuri Mont Blanc, and much more.

Debuting at the Grand Central location in August, an innovative high-tech wall with a virtual fish tank–the “Hey Fish” Fish Park. Guests will have the unique opportunity to create their own customized fish ‘pet,’ adding a playful and interactive element to their dining experience. Guests will be able to design their own personalized digital fish they can name, choosing its color, shape, emotional state, accessories, and name via app. These unique aquatic companions will then be released into the virtual tank, where they will embark on a swimming adventure. The virtual tank will track the mileage of each fish’s swim and more, providing an engaging and entertaining experience. Guests can compete and achieve various levels, each with its own reward of exclusive Happy Tuna merchandise. Every hour, a randomly selected group of ten fish will compete to catch rewards of free menu items, coupons, and more, with three winners announced every hour.
