    Clarins previewed their new skin care, sun care, and makeup offerings tonight in NYC to get your skin and body ready for summer, finally! Thierry Mugler, showcased their delicious smelling fragrances Alien and Angel with the new refillable bottle option available in stores now. Beautypress – Spotlight Day – February 26, 2014 – NYC

     Beautypress held its Spotlight day to introduce and highlight the hottest skincare, beauty, hair, nail trends for Spring/Summer 2014.
Some of the brands represented were:
Clique by Roble; BRAVO’S Chef Roble Ali collabarated to introduce great smelling fragrances of citrus and floral combinations. They can be infused to make delicious drinks as well.
Dermorganic; Natural skincare and hair line that replicates our own hair/skin elements to maintain youthfullness from the outside.
Dear Clark; Haircare line that provides 5 ingredients to moisturize and protect hair as well as provide anti aging properties.
Spadaro Luxury Fragrances; Luxurious fragrances designed by Kim Spadaro. Inspired by key moments in her life. Proceeds benefit the Spadaro Foundation.
FakeBake; Professional at home self tanning products that last 50 percent longer and give you a natural looking tan.
Design Essentials; Cornell McBride launched line in 1990. Quality at home haircare, great smelling products. Salon quality
Dolluxe; Japanese street fashion is hot these days so Charles and Jennifer Reger designed this wig and cosmetic company to make these products available here.
Lashem; Mascara and eyelash booster that promises longer looking lashes. Made in the US.

Editors at Spotlight Day were also treated to cappuccinos, lattes by Filicori Zechini, pastries by Ceci Cela and cocktails by Chef Roble in collaboration with Fair Vodka. Blowouts were provided by Blo Blow dry bar and Marilyn Monroe Spa.

Amazon previewed their hottest products for spring and summer. They showed us gadgets, women’s fashions and accessories, home living, items for pets including a great dog bed I must have. Amazon has unbeatable prices and quick delivery and member incentives as well. #AmazonPreview

GBK, Aruba and DIRECTV Hosted Super Bowl Weekend Suite.

A Tropical Celebrity Retreat and Gift Lounge was created this week with a mixture of celebrities, athletes and DIRECTV’s special guests including AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb, Deion Sanders, Serena Williams, Nina Dobrev, Desmond Howard, Jesse Palmer, Peter Facinelli, Jessie James, and more attended the GBK and Aruba Gift Lounge which brought a taste of the Caribbean to the chilly Super Bowl Weekend.

Dr. Pearlman Introduces the Pearlman Lift to editors.

The VIP attendees were treated to a tour of the facilities and a chat with Dr. Pearlman about both his practice, at large and his new revolutionary techniques. Dr. Pearlman discussed his new patented “Pearl Lift” procedure, which offers stackable treatments, that provide facial rejuvenation to those patients that want the results of a facelift, without the surgery and recovery time. He also informed the guests of the best practices for anti-aging, quashed some common plastic surgery misconceptions, and answered other important plastic surgery queries for the attending journalists.

Live demonstrations were performed on celebrity models Gina Marie Zimmerman, who placed second on the last season of “Big Brother” and Angelina Pivarnick of “The Jersey Shore.” Both reality stars affably posed for pictures for all the attendees. Donna Fay “The Beauty Expert”, who consults and performs some of the treatments with Dr. Pearlman., was on hand to answer additional questions.

Refreshments were provided by Passionne de Fiore Prosecco, Fragoli, Vrou Water, and Garguilo Bakery.

VIP Gift bags included items from Jing Ai Cosmetics, Grande Lash, and bioCorneum® and a gift card for a treatment at Dr. Pearlman’s office.

HSN 2nd Annual Fashion/Beauty Lounge Empire Hotel for FW New York Fashion Week #NYFW

The HSN fashion/beauty lounge served as a retreat for editors and VIP’s during last weeks fashion week. There were makeup touch ups and blowouts to be had to take a break from the frantic pace of fashion week. There was also a preview of HSN partners hottest new products. Byron Lars, Carmindy cosmetics, Jose Eber, RJ Graziano, Iris Apfel to name a few. HSN is the leading network for great brands, trends at unbeatable prices.
