The Capital Grille is a classic steakhouse with rich interiors, a circular bar, and a vibe that exudes money. Powerhouse brokers gather within these walls to close deals and talk shop. The restaurant is a great place to celebrate a special occasion  or have a romantic night out with excellent service,  top notch food featuring dry aged steaks, fresh seafood, and an award winning wine list. We started our meal with the seafood tower, overflowing with fresh lump crab meat, clams on the half shell, oysters and  a 1 pound lobster. We added some jumbo shrimp  into the mix. This can be a meal in itself. For the main course I chose the Porcini Rubbed Bone In Ribeye with 15 Year Aged Balsamic with a side of Lobster Mac N’ Cheese. The steak was 22oz of moist flavor and the mac n cheese was filled with fresh lobster meat galore! My dining companion chose the 2lb broiled lobster stuffed with crabmeat which was equally delicious. All evening we enjoyed a variety of cocktails, beers and wine with our meal as well as a Classic Creme Brulee for dessert. The portions are large and we ended with doggie bags that we enjoyed for lunch the next day.

Limani Rockefeller Center is a sister property to Limani of Roslyn, a distinguished upscale seafood restaurant consistently recognized as being one of the top restaurants in Long Island.

At 8,000 square feet of mainly white decor with marble floors, depicting a villa on a exotic greek island, with seating for 250 including outdoor seating in the summer months and a private downstairs dining room, Limani brings upscale Mediterranean cuisine to midtown on a grand scale.

Limani’s top sellers include Kolokithi (paper thin cut zucchini and eggplant served with lightly fried kefagograviera cheese and tzatziki), tomato salad and grilled octopus salad. The Loup de Mer, a whole Sea Bass, over a pound is served on its own, simply but expertly seasoned and is a guest favorite.

The seafood is showcased by the kitchen in an ice filled display where customers can choose their fish or shellfish to be prepared.

Limani’s prices are up there with other top restaurants, but they currently have a pre and post theater menu that makes the restaurant a must try for $46.50. The deal includes 4 courses consisting of appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert with many favorites included allowing guests to sample the cuisine at half the cost. Drinks and tax are extra of course.
