This week Henri Bendel gave us a sneak peak of what is to come this summer from their accessories colkection. They had handbags, jewelry as well as luggage that is very colorful yet I noticed the bags were very structured and classic. There were many brown, black, beige combos with bags and jewelry as well. Uniqlo presented its’ 2014 preview for the Spring and Summer collection of soft comfortable and modern pieces. In a collaboration with Ines de la Fressange certain pieces will be available in stores worldwide. They will be part of the Lifewear collection made of soft linen and supima cotton. Uniqlo will offer womens, mens and a kids line as well. |

When you first walk in to Tiny Fork it reminds you of a seafood shack you don’t normally see in New York City especially the trendy lower east side. The bar scene was just starting starting when we arrived and the crowd seemed like they were having a good time. The first thing I noticed was an old school raw bar in the back so I knew that would be on my dinner list. It turned out that there was a large selection of oysters and clams as well as crab options. The seafood was quite fresh and tasty. I ordered the lobster sliders and they were very good. The brioche roll was buttered and toasted and the lobster was delicious. The order came with waffle fries. The fish tacos were ordered by another member of my party and she was very impressed. The corn is a great side dish as well as the mac and cheese bars. Not to be outdone but the cocktails were varied and tasty. A favorite amongt our group was the Blue Point cocktail and the Dark and Stormy. When we were done with dinner we were invited to the new lounge directly below the restaurant titled The Cellar. It was a very intimate and cool vibe with great drinks as well. Beauty Press held its Holiday Spotlight day this week in NYC and represented skincare and beauty brands from around the world. Some brands were well established such as Orlane and Essie and some were new and innovatice such as BioElixia from Australia, Celle Skincare that contains Resveratrol that can fix DNA to aid with anti aging and Brocato haircare line that feautured a brand new vibrating flatiron designed to deliver faster results with less damage to your hair. Editors were also treated to manicures courtesy of manicube and essie. Manicube is a service that brings manicure and pedicure services to your office to help with a busy lifestlye. My new favorite nail polish is LVX. They are totally vegan and cruelty free which proves that you do not need harsh chemicals and products tested on animals to have a great product.
