     Caudalie introduced their brand new additions to their already established and loved skin care line. They are the Caudalie Polyphenol C15 line, a double Anti- oxidant Revolution. They patented the combination of stabilized Grape- seed Polyphenols, the most powerful anti-oxidant in the plant world and stabilized Vitamin C to block free-radicals in an amazing effective way. This combination increases the results by 60 to 65%.      Lands End is a company that is symbolic with quality clothing and accessories at great price points. This season they are on trend with sporty chic pieces, beautiful coats, corduroy pants, and I love the cashmere sweaters in a variety of colors. HomeGoods – Summer Preview – NYC

     Mindy Weiss hosted and introduced media to what consumers will find in Homegoods stores nationwide for this summer’s entertaining and decorating needs. Mindy explained how to set a perfectly mismatched table with flatwear, dishes, in great colors at unbeatable prices. The furniture now on sale at Homegoods is quality, heavy duty, stylish and extremely affordable with quality pieces to make a statement in any room in the house. With mother’s day right around the corner there several gift ideas that were fantastic. The large bowl looks like artwork and can be a centerpiece in a room. The beaded comforter set was soft and luxurious. I especially loved the colorful pillows. #Homegoodshappy @Homegoods

SKULLCANDY – Women’s headphones launch – at the Name – in NYC

     Last night the Skullcandy headphones brand launched their brand new line of headphones designed and engineered specifically for women’s listening needs and desires. The colors are great for summer and the packaging is ultra cute and compact. The sound is first rate and they are built to fit a woman just right. American Eagle – Fall Preview – NYC

     American Eagle and Aerie showed us what Fall 2014 is going to look like. The men’s line has been upgraded with great jeans, jackets and a much expanded shoe and sneaker line. The women’s line included great overalls, high waisted jeggings, and comfy long sweaters. The aerie line was full of cute and colorful lingerie and super soft lounge wear.

Clarks – Fall 2014 – Preview

    Clarks introduced a new Fall 14 line that featured many updates to their classic shoe collection for both men and women. There were tall boots in rich fall colors in super soft leather. The flats were super cute and comfortable with a modern twist. The men’s line featured a blast of color into their staple footwear and a great line of motorcycle riding boots that are really cool and trendy but are made to ride. The kids line was adorable and many of the boots and booties mimicked the adult version, but in children’s sizes.

Harkiss Designs – Spring Trunk Show and Press Preview – NYC

     Harkiss Designs, owned by Harriett Zaffoni, held a press preview and a trunk show that introduced jewelry designed by East African artisans. This jewelry promotes the message of empowering East African women one item at a time. All the pieces use natural, sustainable, and locally sourced materials such as fabric woven from the kukui nut or the cow horn. This company has opened a trade route where the women of East Africa can showcase and sell their craftwork to a larger marketplace and we can enjoy unique East African jewelry in return. Harley Davidson – Fall Press Preview – NYC

    Harley Davidson introduced their Fall 14 collection which featured an updated modern approach to cowboy boots in several colors and rich textures. They also showcased their riding boots which are their staple and added studs to add a fashion flair to many boots as well. The boots are well crafted and comfortable and are made to last for years. #HarleyBoots #HDfootwear

Amlactin – showcases their product line – at the Guerlain Spa – in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel – in NYC

     Amlactin showcased their line of soothing, fragrance free, and moisturizing, alpha hydroxy products at the beautiful Guerlain Spa at the Waldorf Hotel. We were treated to manicures and pedicures by the wonderful staff who used the Amlactin products to moisturize our hands and feet during our services. New York dermatologist Dr. Doris Day gave us the breakdown of the advantages of using these products on our skin. These products are available overcounter at your major drugstores like Walgreens and Duane Reade as well as on their website Amlactin.com and are really affordable. @Amlactin

Annick Goutal – Store Opening – West Village

Annick Goutal opened up their West Village location and allowed us to experience a variety of great smelling fragrances. Definitely one of my favorite perfume houses.

Stephanie Kantis – Jewelry Preview.

     Stephanie Kantis is one of my favorite jewelry designers right now. Her pieces are bold, interesting, interlocking and really fun to wear. The new collection focuses on pendants that are beautiful and can be worn with a gold chain or a leather string. The rings are really pretty as well.

Spadaro Luxury Fragrances; Luxurious fragrances designed by Kim Spadaro. Inspired by key moments in her life. Proceeds benefit the Spadaro Foundation.
FakeBake; Professional at home self tanning products that last 50 percent longer and give you a natural looking tan.
Design Essentials; Cornell McBride launched line in 1990. Quality at home haircare, great smelling products. Salon quality
Dolluxe; Japanese street fashion is hot these days so Charles and Jennifer Reger designed this wig and cosmetic company to make these products available here.
Lashem; Mascara and eyelash booster that promises longer looking lashes. Made in the US.

Editors at Spotlight Day were also treated to cappuccinos, lattes by Filicori Zechini, pastries by Ceci Cela and cocktails by Chef Roble in collaboration with Fair Vodka. Blowouts were provided by Blo Blow dry bar and Marilyn Monroe Spa.
