Columbia Sportswear came to NYC last week and threw a party to showcase their latest and greatest outerwear and sportswear to get consumers through the upcoming winter season with warm, comfortable, well made and stylish gear ranging from workout clothes to 1000TD turbodown jackets in an array of colors and styles.
U.S. Ambassador in France Jane Hartley opened up her home tonight to announce the winner of the 2015 Supima Design Competion.
Kate McKenna who won the competition showcased her designs as well as other talented designers, all constructed from top of the line Supima Cotton.
Guests enjoyed Veuve Clicquot and fine wines along with hors d’oeuvres while touring Hotel de Pontalba, the ambassador’s official home.
Eric Javits has been in the accessories business for over 30 years designing hats, handbags, small accessories and footwear featuring his trademarked “Squishee” material. This lightweight, moldable yet sturdy material mirrors straw, yet has the durability of a much stronger material. It allows the consumer the ability to easily pack a large hat without worrying it would lose its shape in transit.
Eric’s new collection features his classic neutrals with an influx of color and metallics, and whites as seen on the runway last week at The Zang Toi Fashion Show here in New York City.

Katy Perry rocked The Plaza Hotel last night at The Harper’s Bazaar Fashion Icons Party. Katy performed her favorites as a celebrity studded audience sipped Moet Champagne and Belvedere cocktails. This amazing night played out as the unofficial closing party for New York Fashion Week.
In attendance were Carine Roitfeld, Mariah Carey, Kate Upton, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Rita Ora, Kendall Jenner & more.
