The Ann Taylor Spring/Summer Preview in NYC unveiled looks that were bohemian inspired as explained by Creative Director Lisa Axelson. There was lots of floral and lace. Black and white was seen in many looks. The looks were soft, breezy, clean and made you wish spring was coming soon. |

Old school fanny packs are anti-fashion as we know it, even though they are attempting a comeback now. However, recently I discovered these fashionable and functional hip bands that are well designed to fit your phone, keys, etc. and are not at all bulky. They come in different widths and colors depending on whether you want to use them while you run or just feeling like being handsfree for the day. Runners have testified that they actually stay in place and not bounce around. I like the fact that they are pretty seamless and not really visible under clothes. Woods and Co. held their day of beauty at the historic Sherry Netherland Hotel. Beauty brands included Le Mieux, a state of the art skincare company, that gave editors mini facials using their beauty line. Miracle Skin Transformer, a line of beauty products designed for multi-tasking was on hand to do make up touch ups. Jose Eber brought their line of hair styling tools and did dry styling for the guests. Yu-Be, A Japanese skincare company, provided very relaxing and much needed hand and feet treatments. Additional brands represented were Marula by John Paul Selects, Polygel, Violin and VitaJewel. |

Lacoste showcased their SS15 collection in NYC and the looks for men, women, and kids were chic, sporty, and classic. Making me wish spring was coming soon!!! They showed strong as expected tennis looks as well as golf, with an adorable line of kids apparel and the most adorable sandals ever for kids. The newest addition is the men’s loungewear/underwear, sleepwear line that is sure to be a success. There is a variety of boxers, lounge pants and tees to choose from in soft cotton and moisture wicking fabric and with a ton of great colors to choose from. |

Pamela Dutton launched her new line of exotic horn jewelry yesterday in NYC. The sustainable line of jewelry uses horn and bone but no animal is ever harmed as the horns are from expired animals. The jewelry is inspired by her travels abroad and fuses leather bands, horn and bone. There are also gorgeous clutches in the line as well. |

The 2015 Spring/ Summer Collection of Caputo & Co. accessories was inspired by Founder Alex Caputo’s trip to the island of Bali. The rich tropical colors were incorporated into the collection and leathers were combined with textile fabrics for the bracelets, bags, and belts. In a higher price point Alex incorporates semi precious stones and beads into the bracelets and these particular bracelets are handmade in NYC. |
